Maps!

Throughout the last few months, Lisle and I have been avidly marking the locations of ‘interesting’ sightings on a GPS. The purpose of this isn’t to document every sighting, but to give us an idea as to where we have seen different cetaceans.

Having said this, I thought that it was about time to unveil what we have discovered. So, below are three maps that I have created to give you a general idea as to what is out there and where. I have split the maps up as best I can so as not obscure all the sightings.

Please note that common dolphin and stripped dolphin have been seen throughout the Bay. We stopped marking their locations very early on because we would completely fill up the map. Unfortunately, we stopped marking the stripped dolphin only after seeing them twice – a slight oversight I must admit.
