New found friends

The morning broke on Wednesday to the view of another flat calm sea. The sun was warm and welcoming, as the passengers and I stood back for another day of close encounters with wild things! One passenger got a bit more than he expected when out of nowhere and in the middle of the Bay of Biscay, a homing pigeon alighted right in front of him. The poor animal was obviously lost and had come to ask for directions. Not being able to understand pigeon English, we were unable to help. Having decided that we obviously were not his owners, our brave companion took flight and headed for home. Unfortunately he decided that home was Due West, so I just hope he can understand the American accent!
